About Us
Since its founding in 1984, Hilmar Cheese has partnered with local dairy farmers to source fresh, high-quality milk, and utilize advanced technologies to maintain industry-leading standards in cheese and whey production. Hilmar Cheese Company specializes 50+ varieties of cheese including cheddar, mozzarella, and produces one out of every four pounds of American cheese. In addition to its commitment to sustainability and excellence, the company is deeply involved in its community. Hilmar Cheese hosts local schools for field trips almost daily, donates equipment to local fire departments for trainings, and regularly contributes to local food banks.
