About Us
Most crops and forest residues (biomass) are loose, wet, and bulky, rendering them difficult and expensive to collect and centralize for conversion or disposal. We develop small-scale, low-cost, portable systems that can latch onto the back of tractors and pick-up trucks to deploy to rural, hard-to-access farms and forest landings to locally upgrade the residues on-site into higher-value bioproducts (chemicals, fertilizers, biofuels, etc.) without external energy input. This can promote a network of self-sufficient rural communities while developing the rural economy in a carbon-negative way and mitigating open-air biomass burning and catastrophic wildfires.
