This project will improve the electrical efficiency of the refrigeration systems and reduce greenhouse gas emissions at three wineries owned by E&J Gallo. At the Livingston and Modesto wineries the project will remove and replace aging and inefficient compressors and a condenser, and at the Modesto winery an existing high-global warming potential (GWP) R-22 refrigeration chiller will be removed and retrofitted to a low GWP R-513A refrigeration system.
