This project will reduce the Recipient's reliance on the current electrical grid, help support sustainability goals, reduce operating costs, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), improve competitiveness, and serve as a model for other facilities. The project is consistent with the California Energy Commission's mission of leading the state to a 100 percent clean energy future.
