The Issue

Project Innovation

Zimeno Inc. dba Monarch Tractor proposes to refine and deploy the Monarch Electric Load Distribution (MELD) system to enable cheaper, simpler, and more reliable zero-emission back up power integration. In conjunction with the energy storage on-board Monarch Electric Tractors (or other Electric Vehicles capable of power export) this modular, highly integrated, easy to install system will enable intelligent electric load monitoring and critical load support during blackouts to dwellings with 50-200+ amp service connections. MELD’s modular and scalable design enables cost effective adaptation to small homes, multi-family dwellings, and small apartment complexes. Monarch will demonstrate the capabilities and prove the value proposition of MELD via deployment, data logging, and data analysis of 10 MELD units on 6 diverse sites during the proposed project.
