The Issue
Project Innovation
The purpose of this Agreement is to fund Recipient’s project to replace two aging and inefficient freon (R-22) refrigeration systems with two adiabatic air-cooled low-charge ammonia refrigeration systems at the Recipient’s warehouse cold storage facility in San Diego. The installation of the new systems will reduce energy use, water use, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
